About Us
Splintertek, LLC, was formed in August 2006 to provide labor services in support of multimedia productions. Owing to the attraction of highly skilled and talented employees, Splintertek recognized a greater potential and has shifted into a full-fledged development force of 25 and growing. We now provide product development guidance, management consultation and full production measures. From this initiative, we carved out our specialty, to develop and deploy advanced communication and training solutions. Splintertek is moving toward completion of multiple Interactive Courseware (ICW) and 3D Simulation efforts, including the Aegis Combat Naval Training’s Cruiser Modification curriculum.
Splintertek’s owners have worked for major companies who focus on quality and integrity of a solid product. We understand the development process from beginning to end, relying on experience, experimentation, and sound communication and instructional fundamentals to achieve our goals. We understand what goes into a product, what the product is expected to achieve, and how the deployment of that product will better our client’s goals.
One such product, the e-Media (Lockheed Martin) division’s Radar Journeyman ICW effort for the Aegis Training Readiness Center (ATRC) in Dahlgren, VA, stood as the birthing ground for Splintertek. The success of this project catapulted our efforts to create a company that would meld together the best of what we have learned and experienced, and be deemed invaluable in our field, across many industries. Upon establishment of Splintertek, e-Media entrusted us the management of additional productions, as well as struck a partnership to develop proprietary software designed to streamline ICW production between instructional designers and developers.
